Than you Honey,

My asthma not to good and swollen ankle.

Doing my best not to go hospital.xxx

think we all struggling at the moment xxx

Have you tried eating a banana or potassium foods, they are supposed to help. Ive never tried it myself. It makes quite a difference just getting a good nights sleep, so good luck. Have you tried epsom salts in the bath as thats supposed, to help with arthritis- just a few ideas to try/consider.

Hope you feel more comfortable tonight and get the chance to rest. You could try placing pillows under joints, keeping limb slightly bent just to give a bit of support.

Thank you Wolfspirit,

Think i will crash out as so tired tonight.

MY ankle is swollen but not like yesterday it was really puffed up.

love bananas so will get lots in xxxx

Your welcome,I hope it helps you. Sweet dreams. Im sure you will crash out tonight, the tiredness kind of creeps up on you and before you know it it gets too much.

p.s asthma and weather allowing.

I have something similar to that, and have lorazepam to relax the muscles, which helps. It makes me pretty sleepy, so I don't really like taking it, but I get quite panicky when I'm in a lot of pain, so it is good to have the option of something to try, and if nothing else, it helps me to get to sleep, where the pain can't follow me so easily!

I find tiger balm helpful, and Voltaren gel (this is a NSAID, so check it with your asthma team if you're sensitive to them), as well as heat and cold packs and stretching. My boyfriend swears by a hot bath, but I find that it's often just too much effort to get into and out of the bath, and causes more pain than it relieves!

I hope that you've managed to get comfortable, and that your breathing is settling down too. Wishing sweet dreams for you!

i agree with honey, you need potassium source foods like banana thats wots causing the cramps due to using a lot of sally inh. get it lots in my calf muscles and dont get much relief from pain killers thats how i know its cos of sally so eat bananas to avoid such.

hope relief soon

Hi. Yes I agree with Honey and Snowygirl. You need Potassium. I get cramps in my hands so eating bananas helps a bit. Also try some gentle stretching excersises to loosen yourself up a bit.

Dave.

Hi Glynis,

I have heard dark chocolate is a good source of potassium? Could be an enjoyable way of trying to sort your cramps - hope they go soon.
