what does this mean...?
Snap! I have done the same, go to your GP! I on tuesday night had an asthma attack totally out of the blue, a big bad one and ended up in a and e and i have notcied i had been getting crackly but my resp nurse just told me to keep and eye on it and well it developed and i now back on steriods after 5 months off them. It is so flustrating, i think your childs asthma must be triggered by something in september like me. Leaves or spores from them someone on here suggested. Not sure how she can avoid it though sorry, only suggestion is get her medication increased during this time. which the GP can do for you.
must be a lot of that around, same here, do go to your GP,
Peak flows are individual to the person depending on age, gender and height. Even when well you should monitor your peak flow then you will have an idea of your ""normal"" and if it starts to go down it can be a warning that an attack is on the way. My daughter monitored her peal flow for 14 years and it was a good pointer to how her asthma was. Sadly her asthma was very severe and ahe died a few years ago but I'd say monitor your peak flows to get an idea what's normal for you. i hope this is helpful to you and I wish you well. Take care and keep well. LIZ x x ( Bernadette's mum )
