Spiriva

I have just been started on Spiriva respimat inhaler has anyone been on this and did it work.

I was started on spiriva back in February as an extra 'add-on'. It has helped to make my asthma more stable. I have had no problems with using the respimat inhaler.

Hi wanda.I take spiriva and since was added to my other meds have been doing alot better and kept me from A n E most of the time. Hope u go on ok with it also. Love glynis xxx

Me too. I am taking it in addition to my Symbicort, for 8 weeks to start with to see if it helps. I would be really interested to see how you get on.

I have been taking this for a week or so now, the handihaler version, and think it is really helping. I even managed a gentle run this morning and my chest was better than it has been for a very long time. Fingers crossed it is not just a fluke but I am hopeful

How are you getting on with it?

i was just nosing around the internet to find out more about spiriva, and it struck me how it does not mention anywhere at all about its usage on asthma patients?

I've been using the Spiriva handihaler for a week and have noticed a real difference in my breathing/how my lungs feel. I have been getting a swollen feeling in my throat, but that is a small price to pay. Hope it helps you.
