might be strange...

I am beginning to realise that since ive had asthma when i drink alcohol (even just 1 small drink, such as half a glass of wine ) the next day my breathing isnt right, feel a tightness and a bit light headed.

does anybody else get that with asthma? i thought it maybe food allergies but beginning to link it with alcohol (possibly sulphites in wine?)

Is it red wine? the Tannins in red wine cause me problems.

And yes Sulphites do cause problems too.

I had a severe reaction after JD and coke and some from vodca.... now givewn up!

I can't drink red wine without getting wheezy I had not realised it was tannins though.

Kate, do different wines have different levels in the same way as sulphites?

i cant drink any alcohol at all as it bothers me but this maybe to do with salicylate problem bu not sure.

does all alcohol contain it?
