Does anyone have any good tips to help with stress its totally un-related to asthma but the stress is making my asthma worse than it would be normally got course of steroids to help with the asthma side of it. I have just found some things out that I really didnt need to know I normally use colouring books to help but doesnt seem to be working and now am at a loss on how I can help myself any advice would be greatfully recivied thanks in advance xx

have you tried rescue rememdy or calms or anything? Also lavander is brilliant like lavander pillows and lavander wheat bags i hope whatever is stressing you blows over soon what about reading also i love readin when im stressed especially with some westlife playing on my ipod lol x

Many years ago, I was feeling very low after being made redundant, as a casualty of the peace dividend with the collapse of communism. It was 1991 and unemployment was 2.5 million, so trying to get a job was very difficult. I started yoga evening classes and found it a fantastic way to relax and unwind.

You could also lie flat on your bed and try to gradually relax your whole body, starting with fingers, then hands, arms, shoulders, feet, ankles, legs, ending up with eyes, forehead and jaw. Play some soft relaxing music and breath slowly whilst relaxing. I find myself dropping off to sleep sometimes and wake within half hour, totally refreshed. This was a technique I was taught after major heart surgery.

I am insomniac at the moment and find that listening to relaxation CDs help. Alcohol doesn't work and can make you feel worse after anyway.
