Hi folks

I have not been around for a while. My health deteriated again basically. I am now housebound unless someone else can take me out. My asthma was behaving really well until 29th Jan when i landed in hospital for a day admission. I required IV magnesium. I am now very weak on top of everything else. I am barely able to do anything at all even making drinks are tiring. I am now back at square one and trying to build myself back up once again. Starting with bed and breathing exercises. Wonder how far i will get this time? I keep getting down about not being able to do as others can but it is expected.

Any way good news on the 1st Jan 2011 a young man proposed to me so i am engaged to be married! Yippee this July i will be getting married. a young man loves me dispite my physical disability.

My medical team continue to give me fantastic support and keep me at home as much as possible. I managed a whole four months without a hospital admission! A record for me!

I am spending a lot of my free time volunteering for different charities and writing letters to friends. I am also spending time getting to know my new extended family and wedding planning.

""When u think the purpose of life is to do ,or get or accomplish,u will always feel like a failure when things dont turn out as planned. When u understand that life is a classroom in which success means growing into the best human being possible ,u begin evaluating yourself and your experiences from a totally different point of view""

Please enjoy every minute of everyday cos when its good its great, when its bad a little sad but it could be worse.

Hello plumie

Sorry to see you are unwell. As many others have already said, i think you are an inspiration to many forum users. May i offer my congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding. It was the best thing thats ever happened in my life when i proposed and Jane said yes. They say good things come in threes. My two daughters are the two who made it three good things.

[sorry, rambling on there]

Anyway i wish you all the best for the future

Howie
