The New Dr Who.......
I agree he is absolutely rubbish. His side kick has a stronger character than the dr
here here, missed a trick and Jon Simm should have morphed into the new Dr. Watched last nights episode, no better than the 1st so won't bother wasting my time again.

Yep, it is just rubbish.
David Tennant was very good.
Personally I thought the Sylvester McCoy years were pants but my son in law having grown up with Who at that point, would beg to differ. Last nights episode though confusing, may be a signpost to something further along the road. Writer Stephen Moffat has been quoted as saying he wanted to inject some fun, that Who wasn't science fiction as such, more about the monsters under your bed. Saturday night's monsters bore a striking resemblance to the old codgers up the road - should I be worried that they live nearer the exit of our cul-de-sac than I do?
From Willliam Hartnell forward, Who is played with a hint of childish mischief. As Tennant before him, Matt Smith has it too. Plays it individually but with a nod to the others.

Think he may come across better if he wasn't dressed up as the mad professor!
As opposed to.? if anyone's as old as me, look back and remember..yup, they've all been dressed a bit nutty. LOL
Oh no!!
I absolutely love both Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. They are both AMAZING...and I am developing quite a strong crush for Mr. Matt!!
I did love David Tennant too, but I do think that they are different Doctors...and Matt Smith is just as brilliant!!
Also...Steven Moffat is a GENIUS!!
xx
PS - sorry, got a bit excited there but I'm a pretty big Whovian!
I have to completely agree with Rachel17 on this one. *This* is what Doctor Who should be; bloomin' good fun!
I'm enjoying the new series, I think they work well together. It's just the clothes! but I suppose it wouldn't be Doctor Who if the Doctor didn't look like he'd fallen out of the Tardis, into the wardorbe department and wore what had fallen on top of him. Thank God it wasn't a sequined dress.
ha ha rattles. That may yet come..
Amy's Choice was rather a deep episode exploring the Doctor's darker side. I was rather surprised to read an even deeper review on the Guardian website :).
He isn't pants, but I wouldn't mind seeing Matt Smith in his!
Its different but I actually really like it.
Hear, hear Katina!
Still think he's rubbish tho tonite he showed some back bone. Plus there was less of his overbearing side kick so he might get better
