Favourite Sandwich

Just wondering what your fav sandwich is. Mine is ham and coleslaw. YUM!

mine is egg mayo and watercress or egg and bacon.

depends on the time of day

breakfast sandwich - sausage and ketchup on white toast

lunch sandwich - ham, cheese, onion relish (marks and spencer really good) lettuce, mayonnaise on light brown oat and rye bread

Tea time sandwich - jam and cream cheese

Supper sandwich - tuna, sweetcorn, mayonnaise, cucumber, lettuce, red pepper or turkey and stuffing with red pepper, lemon mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato both on wholemeal bread.

I really can't decide which of these is my favourite but have discovered through this post that I could possibly just live on sandwiches.

Anytime - Square sliced sausage with HP sauce on west of scotland plain bread.

Do on at our local club the other week, someone's 21st. Sometimes if the do has overmuch food, they send plates upstairs to the club members bar. Surprised this time to see heaps of roll and sausage, instead of the usual mini sandwiches. Young and old, we were like gannets on those rolls.

Home made wholemeal bread with Peanut Butter and Marmite or Peanut butter & banana! Mmmm

Thick wholemeal toast with sliced cherry tomatoes and mayo, I know it's not a sandwich but it has all the components, just not closed!

Or for reall childhood memories comfort two slices of toast with ham and tomato ketchup! Yum, never fails to please!

So many to choose from but my top 3 are:-

My mum used to give us mashed banana and jam sandwiches. I liked them at the time but too sweet for me now.
