Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has ever trie a sodium ascorbate flush for their RA.
Or even a 3 day fast, as I've read that both can be helpful.
Thanks.

I had never heard of a vitamin C flush so just looked it up. Apparently it boosts the immune system, which is absolutely not what you want when you have RA!!
Hi OpieD , thanks for reaching out with your question.
People with arthritis often wonder what types of food they should eat or avoid to help reduce their symptoms. Contrary to popular belief, there are no particular diets or types of food that will make arthritis better or worse. The aim should be to eat a well-balanced diet full of vitamins and anti-oxidants, and to keep to a healthy weight.
The Arthritis Action charity website has a lot of useful information about the importance of diet and weight management for people living with arthritis:

Hope this is helpful, let us know how you get on!
I’d be very wary of vitC in high doses of you have arthritis. I use lemon juice tea once a day but if I overdo the citrus I get a flare up.
