Last couple of weeks I’ve had a hell of a time trying to get woken up in the mornings. I’m getting at least 6 hrs of sleep before having to get up to get ready for work the following morning. Last Saturday morning when I got up I sat on the couch for awhile to get woken up but fell asleep sitting up with my head in my right hand. Now I ask could this be arthritis related or something else? Who else has had this problem?

It sounds like fatigue to me. It could be related to any number of conditions, se here for more info. nhs.uk/live-well/sleep-and-...
But it might be just lack of iron. May I suggest an appointment with your GP and explain all you have told us here. If he's any good, he should at least organise some blood tests. Let us know if you have any explanation for your fatigue.
Can you not get more than six hours ? I'd be unable to wake up with just six hours and need at least eight every night. And it is said one hour before twelve is worth two after. I don't know if its true but even laying down with a good book is a good idea too.
