When I get up every morning, I am very stiff and every step is very painful. I use the cane and keep walking for about 45 minutes then stretch for another 15 minutes then walk again without the cane, then I can more or less start my day. Can you think of any way to shorten that ritual if you experience that stiffness in the morning. Please let me know. Thanks. Hannah 22

Hi Hannah,

I experience stiffness every morning...some days worse than others. I do some stretches while still in bed. Then I get an ice bag and a cup of coffee and sit in a comfortable chair. I put the ice bag against my lower back. After about a half an hour it is better.
