He we go again with shoulder pain again tonight. I went through the same thing all day friday with the other shoulder. So i now sit here with a lavender wheat bag tonight watching reruns of blue bloods. Temps are cool here tonight. Heat seems to be the trick so far that will ease it a little but still not enough for my comfort. It'sabsolutely for me . My spine has also been painful today too. Where's the relief? I'm so tired of being in pain on a daily basis.

A painful Christmas eve night
Hi Jd. I have the same pain in both my shoulder's. It also goes down my arms, to the elbow. Where I also get pain. I've also been suffering with costochondritis. I have osteoarthritis in most of my joints now. Last blood tests showing inflamation again. So waiting to hear back from my doctor on that. It's very frustrating, I get very emotional about it all. It's hard to stay positive, When your in constant pain .
Debbie, I never thought mine would get this bad this quickly in und a 5 year period. It started in my hands in 2013. Like you I have it in my elbows as well. But it's not real bad in my elbows tho. My spine gets real painful , but I don't want to consider a cortisone injection in my spine do to what I've read from what other have experienced. One of the being permanent paralysis from the waist down. I feel it's to risky to have a needle stuck in my spine. A lot could go wrong. J. D. Quinn
I had two lots of cortisone jabs a year for 6 years and there were no after effects or pain
They did.work for that time but my body got too used to them
They definitely worked for the time they were.effective
They were carried out under general anaesthitic but that choice was optional.
Annie don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid of needles. I've been poked and prodded on since I was a child. But the simple fact is that I'm just Leary about having one stuck in my spine. To many nerves are there in the lumber spine area. I don't want to take any chances. J. D. Quinn
We all arent the same and we must do what is right for oursrlf. No worries and happy new year
Same for me is it colder temperature or that we have been doing more that makes it worse? It really gets me down having to use heatpads and painkillers all the time.
I am not in pain, but I only stay that way by keeping warm. I find I feel the pain before I feel cold. Paying attention to what I wear is important and in winter that means wool. Staying out of droughts is another thing specially from air conditioning units. There is only one bike in the gym that I can use without being blasted with cold air.
Pain killers, the few times I have used them, lowers my already low body temperature and make matters worse.
Keep warm and keep moving has been my mantra for a long time.
