I have had Arthritis now for a few years now, now the cold weather is here my thumb and two fingers go white stiff and painful then they go blue black should I see my GP ? I

Yes, do go and see your GP, my son has similar symptoms and was diagnosed with Raynaud's Syndrome.

Hermes123. Mine are the opposite side of the hand, small finger and ring finger of the right hand which are connected to the nerves in the elbow. The operation has taken away all feeling in that side of the hand, complete numbness a circulation at all but still a certain amount of pain, it in not due to a lack of exercise it gets plenty just makes my hand fumble all the time cannot get a proper grip any longer.
