I think I am suffering from GOUT. I am a regular (daily) user of fish oil. Could this be a contributor to gout??

Many people take fish to help reduce arthritic symptoms. But everyone is different and you could be reacting negatively to the oil. Oil is one thing I reduce in my diet. The other day I microwaved some popadoms and I think the following flare was caused by the oils in the popadoms.

I've got gout it usually attacks the joint in your big toe, it becomes inflamed and red, and is extremely painful I could not stand the weight of a bed sheet. Oily fish is one of the things you can eat on a gout diet, you should not eat red meat, turkey, all dairy products, alcohol and certain E numbers, or you can take the tablets instead, you should see somebody about it. I tend leave things hoping they will go away but its not a good idea.
