Has anyone else experienced only being able to move very slowly whilst taking ablify? My dose has been dropped to 10mg but I still can't walk very far or fast.
I am also taking sertraline, does anyone know of this could be the cause rather than the ablify from experience?
Thank you

I haven’t taken ablify before however I have taken sertraline. Maybe this is a side effect you are experiencing? You could perhaps get in touch with your dr and discuss your concerns?
How is sleep at night now? Are you having your medication review soon? Hope this resolves soon for you. It is very difficult when medication is a trial and error process. Hang in there and let us know how you get on
Movement disorders, called extrapyramidal effects, are common with antipsychotic medications. When I was taking Abilify I had to discontinue it for that reason. I got tardive dyskinesia, which is a little different (facial tics), but slow movement or stiff muscles is also a listed side effect. When I was taking Risperidone I had that effect of stiff muscles and difficult movement. I remember it made it very difficult to smile and talk, as I had trouble moving my mouth as quickly as I tried to form words. It was very frustrating and upsetting.
I’m very sorry you’re having to deal with these side effects. Please contact your doctor.
