Hi there wonderful strong women 
I am writing on behalf of the East Midlands Perinatal Mental Health Provider Collaborative to check whether there are any women interested to join our Expert by Experience group.
Experts by Experience are people who have personal experience of either using perinatal mental health services or caring for someone who has used these services. In other words, the frequent users and visitors of this forum. Although we are specifially looking for service users of the MBUs in Nottingham and/or Derby in this case.
Our Experts by Experience group hold a monthly online group meeting to discuss current topics about the East Midlands MBUs. You can be involved in other meetings and co-production work if this is something you are interested in.
Currently we are just a group of four Experts by Experience, who coincidently all attended the MBU in Nottingham and three of us suffered PP (one postnatal depression). But we hope to grow and diversify the group over time. So please consider joining if you have used services in the East Midlands in the last five years and also feel free to share the message with your partner/parents or perhaps other women who you know from the MBU
