I have talked to someone at the out of hours team and they advised me to watch a nice film. I expressed how I am feeling about the injustice I have been through and all they asked was whether my mental health was settled. I hate it when they say that, as though I am guilty of something. What do I have to do to tell the authorities that I am not a child abuser?

Hi Poulson
It's great that you reached out for support when you felt you needed it, I'm sorry if you felt that the response from the out of hours team wasn't helpful.
Are you able to talk with someone you trust, like your husband, or a professional you can trust and have a relationship with such as your CPN? It does sound like you are struggling with a lot of memories and thoughts. I hope you can reach out to those around you if you need it.
Take care,
Ellie
