Kinda shocked

I got a number off here for military ppp coordinator I had told her what I was going through ( a lot of anxiety and fear and non command hallucinations ( 2 of them in one week ) she told me she wanted for me to go to the er to be evaluated which I wouldn't do if I wasn't experiencing hallucinations at the time. She also gave me some resources which is nice I did find a countselor who deals with this mood disorder. I also was told some information that I not agree with which was a simple auditory hallucination can lead to being psychotic and you think everything is normal but I could do something terrible like harming my son or myself. Now I've been told if I'm actively hearing things then go to the er but I've also been told it's not a switch from normal to psychotic in the matter of minutes. I kinda feel like she was trying to threaten me. With my OCD I expect every story to happen to me every worst case scenario and that was just wrong for her to put fear into me like that. Now this is when I got upset I got a call from a lady saying I had called to crisis line saying I was having command hallucinations and in a crisis now I'm thinking I went nuts and couldn't remember calling anyone so she looked it up and it was the coordinator saying I need to go to the emergency room and be checked out. This is just wrong first of all she lied I've never had command hallucinations and I wasn't in a crisis. Very confused on why she went out of her way to lie about my condition. I know when I need to go to the er I've admitted myself about 8 times. An anxiety attack doesn't need to be in the er. Thanks for letting me vent. I just think that was a little too much. And no need to make me more concerned like I'm going crazy. Did not help my anxiety and OCD

Hello Michelle0

Thanks for sharing all your thoughts and feelings.

I'm glad you found a counsellor who is helpful. Sorry to hear about your unsettling experience with the co-ordinator and hope you are ok now. Did the appointment with your psychiatrist go well, as mentioned in an earlier post?

Take care.

No it didn't go well with the psychiatrist because he's saying nothing is safe for a mood stabilizer so he's going to attack it from the OCD side. I'm on seroquel for the mood and psychosis 275 mg and he doesn't want to up that either. But the counselor was amazing it was nice to have someone who understands more about psychosis.

Do not be ashamed of these feelings. You are not being put down or judged. Better safe than sorry. I wish more people worried about me when I was in that state.
