Hi,

I am new to the site and just wanted to share my new blog address. I am currently receiving treatment for PP, depression and anxiety and am trying to put my experience into words through the blog. Only two posts on so far but I will update again soon. Hope it is of interest. Thanks! Anonymum boilsmymilk.wordpress.com/

Hi anonymum

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your blog with us. I know many of us have also found writing about our experiences really helpful as a way of not only understanding ourselves but sharing with other mums who've been there - and even educating those who haven't.

We are here any time you fancy a chat and well done for starting the blog.

Warm wishes

Naomi

Hi Anonymum,

Welcome to the site & thanks for sharing your blog & giving real insight into your PP experience. I hope you found getting your thoughts down (which can be very random & confusing at the time!) helpful in some way. I know writing things down helped me clarify things a little when I was recovering - although I actually felt very uncomfortable reading it back for a long time after so never shared it with anyone (something I'm thankful for now).

I also hope you didn't find it too draining to write or you don't feel pressured in the future to write more. As you know, things can be pretty fragile for a while after PP so it's good to monitor your moods & know when to step away from time online. Having said that, we're here if you ever want to chat :-). Thanks again for sharing it.
