i ahve been given citalopram 20mg i was only taking them for 5 days but they made me feel so sick has anybody else had these side affects ?

HI yes i got really ill with them had to stop after ten days but i had to then take ten m g for ten days i have been told i am allergic to ssri go back to doctor see what they say x

i am on citalopram. thought i was getting better but lately iv been suffering from muscle tension, rocking sensation and feeling spaced out.

Hello i couldnt take citalopram either used to make me constantly gag and make me wanna throw up and made me lightheaded.Ive tried allsorts of medication.I just couldnt handle taking meds on top of sensitisation and anxiety.I get that rocking and muscle tension especially my chest.Ive recently joined a programme called freedom from fear recovery group by David johnson the late Doctor Claire Weekes gave him therapy and he teaches people the same programme that he was shown.Its made me have a more understanding of the illness.If u have a look on his website it may help you.
