Does anyone else have different pains or sensations through out all day? I'm always feeling odd & ill. Hard to believe it's just anxiety

Hi, first make sure to talk to your doctor about any pain you are having. It's your body's way of telling you something is wrong but I do have pains with my anxiety. Sharp pains in my head, migraine, nasty twisting pain in my chest that radiates down my left arm with pins and needles type pain in my hand. Horrible period pains when anxiety is bad. Pain from shoulder and neck stiffness due to tension.

You mentioned weird sensations, I get a shaking feeling from top to toe. Like all my insides are jiggling and hyper, I get a spaced out feeling with this and it can go on for hours. Sometimes it can end up being a massive panic attack. Also the feeling like I am about to lose it and it terrifies me. My body sometimes irritates me, almost like an itch I can't scratch. Like I'm not comfortable in my own skin, not settled, agitated and restless. A paracetamol usually helps me with this and going to bed for awhile.

Hope I've been helpful, stay strong. Anxiety is not nice and your coping the best you can. Take care xxx

I used to get all kinds of physical sensations, mostly dizziness and feeling spaced out. I'd also get tummy aches etc. It's amazing what sensations we can feel from anxiety and it's hard to believe sometimes that the body reacts in this way. Getting checked out by the GP is always a good thing as sometimes it's easy to say to yourself everything is because of the anxiety. But if you get the all clear then finding ways to deal with it will really help like mindfulness and CBT. All the best.
