Hi Missy, yes I have been trained by a hypnotherapist many years ago.
It is a part of my Meditation each day and night. The feeling of inner peace
and calm can't be described. With time, you will fall asleep within moments of
listening to hypnotherapy while your subconscious mind absorbs the words.
Just another great tool to use. xx
I had hypnotherapy in the early 90’s for help with my alcoholism and it included relaxation therapy as well. It didn’t work for my alcoholism (I had to get help for that at AA), but it was great for relaxation. To this day, if my anxiety isn’t too severe, I can utilize the self hypnosis even without external help. Tapes, sounds, etc. In the beginning, my therapist recorded our sessions so I could use them at home. Eventually, I didn’t need the tapes anymore. I can still hear her voice soothing me. And also, like Agora, sleep can come if that’s your objective.
