Very possible for it to stop working as your body became tolerant to it. Had this happen to me in 2021 with Effexor

It depends, how long have you taken it for? I am on Sertraline and it's no longer working for me but I've taken it many years. ( I'm talking to my psychiatrist about it on next appointment).

Nobody can predict if or how long a medication will work. Years ago I was on Prozac for 10 years(started it shortly after it came out in the late 80's) then it stopped working, same with Celexa following that. Have been on many other meds following those, some worked briefly, not at all or gave me intolerable side effects. Have become treatment resistant to meds over several decades. I no longer take meds.
