I've been on it since Jan. I do not believe it made my anxiety worse.

I'm on 15 MG of Mirtazapine, but it was prescribed along with Trazodone. Prescribed to me because I was unable to sleep due to taking Venlafaxine.

It took my psychiatrist around 5 months to find the best cocktail of medications to help me. I encourage you to reach out to your psychiatrist about your meds.

I am taking 45mg in the winter months when my depression is at it's worse. Then I switch down to 30mg during the brighter summer months. It took a number of different medications before I found this one that suits me . I hope you find your best medication soon

It does take a good 5 or 6 weeks to get into your system. It may be that you would benefit from a beta blocker like the propranolol that I also take. I will keep my fingers crossed that you find yourself in a better happier place soon x
