Hi, I don't have an aquarium myself but I used to love to sit and watch the fish in my brother-in-law's. As you said, very relaxing, I'm guessing that's some sort of catfish at the front and some variety of barb to the left? Is this your tank?Hope your day's started well and you're doing okay at the moment.

Yes catfish and barbs. Yes it’s my tank. Just cleaned it and added the barbs... for a while I felt bad for the catfish because it was dirty and dark and plants took over so it could barely move but now he is happy 😊

So calming watching fish it’s like a meditation I find I’ve got koi fish and in summer just watch them for hours ....like a moving oil painting......what’s the really bright multicoloured ones in the background??

Hi 🙃 I love koi fish and we almost got some but decided on smaller so we could have more in the tank. They are neon barbs and I think tiger? striped barbs.

I want some indoors think it’s a great distraction......koi are great but they grow so quick ....I’ve got 2 albino sturgeon too like half shark half dolphin they are quite tame now come feeding time ...thanks for posting and who would’ve knew Roxy was a deep sea diver 😃 what’s the cat fishes name?

I might get myself a little aquarium for xmas .....present to self because I’m worth it ...😆...just a little one and some little neons ....do you have trouble getting the water right so they don’t die ?

I only have two goldfish and I get so (pleasantly) lost watching them swim around. Your tank has so many cool creatures that I'd be fixated for hours! 🤩

Ha fixated yeah 😆 We almost got some neon shrimp but the catfish would have eaten them right up.

Spotting the clown loach in your tank starlight 🙂 -I have one in my tank- he is very naughty but fun to watch, I’ve got three largish upside down catfish and a huge piece of bog wood for them,lots of black neon tetras and a very interesting female kissing gourami (named Kisser). What kind of filtration system are you using? If you can’t clean much, one or two external filters are very useful,I’m the same.

I have two Eheim filters for the one tank (400 litres) can’t remember the exact name of them but my dad has to sort them out as they can be complicated with all their layers of different media and depending on the brand needing to manually suck the water through the pipes to get the filters running again after a clean.

I also have two UV lights which kill off a lot of bacteria and stop things like white spot happening. Big problem with all these things though is you need to know what your doing and have the money, I got all my equipment either as a shop model or on sale using my loyalty card.
