I hope that Ginger contributes to you having greater feelings of calm and peace. She certainly looks so peaceful at the moment. I would love to have a dog but I cannot commit to anything long term at the moment. I wonder if they do foster dogs? I just looked up online for the RSPCA (in UK) but they don't have any need for foster carers in my area. When I was young my grandmother had a dog and I really loved him.

Try dogs in training for the deaf or blind. They often need temporary foster homes x

You can normally tell how big they will grow by their paws, big paws bigger future dog

Hi deepthinker.

That is one very cute puppy ! So sweet looking. She is sleeping a lot !!! ? Must want to get some growing in. Her paws do look pretty big. I have never had a lab but did have a golden once, 85 lbs. I do not remember how much he slept but the next two puppies I got were into everything ! Very active little guys and I had forgotten in 17 yrs what it was like to have a puppy! Fun but also a lot of work too. It was like having a two yr old again but for less time.

My latest has calmed down. 1 1/2 now. He still needs to be out running( is like lightning), jumping, takes steps 3 at a time. Always ready to play with the cats, toads, birds and squirrels too if he could catch them. Plus he is a total people pup. He is my shadow.

just gorgeous I used to have a yellow lab he lived until he was 15yrs of age my Harry did he was lovely, I now have black one aged 8 called Dodger I do love labs she is lovely god bless her xx
