Anyone experience brain shocks longer than a couple weeks? I have bursts of what feels like electrical shocks going all over my head. This happens several times of day. The only thing that helps is ice. This has been going on for 10 years. My PCP recently prescribed Gabapentin.which helps some. I have an appointment with a neurologist, but it is not until May 28. Anyone elae experience this and if so what helps?

Brain Shocks
Electrostatic fields may be present in the home. Synthetic fibres and wireless broadband may alter your electromagnetic field. There is also brain metabolism which is affected by substances in the diet. A highly detailed article
outlines enzyme catalysis mediated by the electrostatic field.*
Electron transfer during breathing are influenced by hemes, iron- sulphur clusters and other metals. Electrostatic interactions take place and may be mediated by salt bridges. If you are influenced by electrostatic fields you can be affected by sound waves, and radiowaves, in TV and TV, microwaves ,even from a hairdryer.
I don't know if iron deficiency would increase electromagnetic field causing shocks, or if too much iron in the blood would affect the brain. Blood tests might high light vitamin and mineral deficiencies which might be influencing your metabolism. Vitamin D and Iron need each other to be absorbed.

I read with interest that sliding your feet in shoes or socks over a natural fibre carpet can increase electrostatic energy. Hope you get more information from your neurologist. Cutting down phone and social media time and computer might help to calm, and get to sleep an hour before you go to bed.
