Just out of curiosity, has anyone here tried the "wim hof" method? For those who do not know, it is a breathing technique created by this person which looks very interesting ... has anyone tried to do that?

Hi GhOst, Be careful. In my opinion this may not be good for your health.

(especially if you have heart issues) Your decision, let me know if you tried

it and how you felt. :) xx

I have done it on several occasions, for that same warning about not using that method if you have any cardiac condition was that I tried it, part of my anxiety gives me to think that I have something wrong in the heart even though I have done several ekg (the last one about 8 months ago), so I wanted to try that breathing to see if I felt something bad in me but it was not like that at all, in fact it is quite relaxing and surprising, the first times you do it and you see the amount of oxygen that you can to hold is really something. You are right that there is that warning, I do not recommend that to do it, but it is good to always investigate these things and if you like what you found well you can try it.

Any tool that can help us is good.

GhOst, I totally agree with you. If it's not harmful to you, than we have to

try what may work for us or we'd never know. There's so many methods

and tools out there that we are bound to find something. Breathe :) xx

wimhofmethod.com/

Here is his website. There is also an extensive facebook community. I tried it briefly several years ago when I was weaning of Cymbalta and I was very sick. The breath work helped with the extreme nausea.

I suffer from asthma. Lifelong. I came across wim years ago when I was heavily running last year I came across him again with more focus on the breathing method.

Honestly its been a transformation for me as a person. I too am incredibly anxious among other things.

I find it has helped on multiple levels. My breathing has improved immensely.

And mental state i find so much clarity. If you really look into it its so logical. And now getting verified by the scientific world. Can't recommend it enough my friend
