Where I differ with the thinking with the post is it says that 4 out of 5 people with seasonal depression are women I beg to differ as men are affected in large numbers but there are those men who suffer in silence because society says they shouldn't show any sign of weakness which meant men are expect to grin and bear it! I wish all people no matter there sex that they seek help! David

I know...I hate it too.....but as long as the flowers are blooming there is some life left in the garden.....it's when the last bloom dies that I know it's time for fall....which makes me sad because Spring is my season and it was very short this year...we had a big climate change here.

Hope4321, do you have a light box? I have one for Seasonal Affect Disorder and it helps a little bit.

I can't stand winter. I'm in the U.S. and I can't stand that it gets dark early and all the green is gone. Some people like my mom love winter but I will take the hot humid days anytime.

I got mine years ago from the Sunbox website. Mine is the Sunlight Jr. I was able to have my doctor prescribe it and my insurance covered it. I have to have it close by me to work. It is not a total cure, it just helps to take the edge off my depression. Exercise helps too.
