Hey there shaner; my anxiety is keeping me awake too. Could be sleeping right no, I'm up stressing over myself; am I good enough mum? Am I stupid? Am I so dumb that all my heart ache is all my fault? Blah blah blah, then feeling guilty for feeling sorry for myself? sorry!! Wish I had some great advice but all I can give right now is understanding. You're not alone. I'm up lol. If you need to talk to someone or get more off your chest ❤️

Thank you very much for the reply. it's nice to know I'm not alone. It seems the only time i do fall asleep easily is by having a few alcoholic beverages before bed or by taking half a doasge of clonzapam from a friend but i don't want that to become a habit. It's my first day on this support group and i feel a little bit better talking about my problems. I do tend to keep things inside so this is a good step. Have a good day Mumma and I'll be around and thank u once again

I do the same to get off to sleep ( have a few drinks) so you're not alone there either. You talk as little or as much as you like; it's not easy to open up about this stuff sometimes but everyone here really does understand what that horrible anxious feeling is like, I'm still trying to shake it off this morning ☹️. For me I find physical work during the day helps too, like digging up my veggie garden or work around the house . I feel a sense of achievement and then I'm too tired to think about nothing but what's for dinner and a shower. If you havnt seen a doctor they can help too. Some meds can be addictive but also a great tool if anxiety is really bad. I had a terrible panic attack oneday and thank god for that tiny tablet or I don't know what I would've done. It's good that you're cautious though. I'm not on here every day but around too. Hope you start feeling better soon and you're most definitely are not alone

I've been starting new hobbies, anything to keep my mind occupied from the crazy racing thoughts that happen especially at night .My friend is an artist and I've been borrowing some her materials to create. It helped because I slept 7 hours a couple of nights ago with very low stress. I did have a very vivid dream last night which woke me up and I haven't been able to fall asleep since . I hope everything is good for you
