Does anyone take propranolol for anxiety? Does it help? Any tips or advice my doctor just prescribed but I haven’t taken it yet.

unfortunately, since we are all different biochemically that answer would be varied. I bet if you asked 30 people on it, they would give you 30 different answers! The only way you will know how it will affect you, is by taking it.

Hi KKat - my hubby took it years ago as his blood pressure went sky high - it did help him - if you are worried about the medication look at the leaflet and read of any side effects - there is a way to see if there are any harmful side effects by logging onto Uk gov yellowcard scheme. You don't have to give personal details to look p a graph of side effects and problems just look for the drug profile analysis tab and tyhpe in yellow card uk gov and the wbsite should come up. Drugs.com has a similar website of UK and US. Hope you feel better - it's awful when you are so anxious - anything else worrying you?

Thanks! Ok I will, I know it causes drowsiness just wanted to see if its so bad like will it just make you pass out.
