No, I can't take meds, If I do I'll take to much and never wake up again (: goodnight sleep tight and don't let the demons drag you into hell and eat you alive. (:

Pray. Even if you pray the same words over and over. Focus on a few words. You will sleep.

I never try to sleep during a migraine. I try to find as much physical comfort as possible and lay there until I feel better. My headaches fee like my skull is squishing my brain- pressure all over with light sensitivity, nausea, and stabbing throbbing pain behind my eye. I lay down in darkness and tie a scarf around my head. It sounds weird, but I find the pressure of a somewhat tight wrap around my head really soothing. If I stay still, in the dark, with my head wrapped, the pain is less intense. Eventually I usually fall asleep, but it’s not my goal. My goal is just being less uncomfortable until it passes.

I try to drink a big bottle of electrolyte drink before I lay down too- I’ve found it helps me feel recovered faster.
