I just wanted to add this tidbit...if there’s dissent amongst your coworkers, don’t engage yourself even though it’s the popular thing to do. Buying in to others grievances can ruin a perfectly good job! Just a reminder to stay away from that toxic osmosis!!

work is work for a reason....it's a job...not a social meeting place, or place to gossip, or a reality tv show.... it's work. Keep yourself at a professional level of emotional distance and focus on the job. These people mean nothing to you in your life....they don't pay your bills so who gives a crap what they have to say or think. Don't ever allow someone else to take your power away.... put up your boundaries and concentrate on the job.

I agree with gratitude and faux. Remember you are getting paid for this- it's great to be able to let loose a little- but still you have plenty of time on your own to laugh and let loose.
