Buspirone?

What are your thoughts on Buspirone for panic?

I’m wondering the same thing. My doctor just prescribed this for me and I haven’t tried it yet. I’m weaning off Abilify first. I’m also on Lexapro.

I am trying to avoid SSRIs and Benzos to help with it.

I started taking it yesterday and it does seem to help. However, it makes me extremely tired. I also still have to take xanax in between times to keep my anxiety and panic attacks from becoming full fledged nightmares. But I hope to begin weaning off the xanax when I can come to my good days once again. I am on 10mg of busiprone, half a pill in the morning and the other half at night. I wish i would have had this medication before.

I have a friend who's taken it. It did help her. I think it took a while to kick in, so you unless you're having side effects, I'd give it a few weeks.
