Severe withdrawal due to binge drinking alcohol.

I get Symptoms like red face, chest pains, tremors, headace, foggy brain, increased anxiety next day(morning) after drinking party at night.

These symptoms are intolerable.I think its anxiety thats triggering this. Has anyone experienced the same.?

Hi, Bensick—hope you’re feeling better. If you have anxiety and/or depression, alcohol is something that should be limited as it does interact with meds very well (if you’re taking any) and the withdrawal after can definitely be anxiety provoking—those symptoms are terribly uncomfortable. I’ve take. Care of many patients in withdrawal from both drugs and alcohol. There are meds to get you through.

exactly what ccattjenrn said....alcohol is a depressant. I would seriously address the binge drinking and once you have cleared your system, ....get professional help with your anxiety and depression, see if you have the 'double whammy' I have....find out if you also have the disease of alcoholism with the depression...other wise your just on a merry-go-round doing the same thing over and over and going no where....
