my depression is hitting me full throttle. its sad that i barely have the energy and motivation to fully write out this post.

So sorry you’re dealing with depression. Been down that road. It’s not fun. I completely your lack of motivation. When you feel more up to it, please write more of your story. You can get help and support here. I tried dealing with depression alone and it didn’t work. Do you see a counselor? Are you on any meds for your depression? I hope you get some professional help soon. Don’t suffer in silence like I did for so long. My best to you!

thank you for your concern, i just saw my therapist again after being out of counseling for awhile but we mainly discussed my panic disorder i used to take meds but havent been on them for years. im looking forward to getting better and enjoying life again

I hear you! I have been where you are and feel that way now due to the holidays.

I have just started to attempt sending out a few Christmas cards and it has been so difficult for me!

I'm retired and have no friends that live near me and the support groups that I used to attend are no longer there.

I love with my boyfriend but he suffers from depression also, so it has been difficult to help each other.

Are you in therapy and or are you taking meds for your depression?

Therapy plus meds helps somewhat, but I have found a support community has helped me the most.

Hang in there and come back here anytime.

There is always someone here to help as best they can.
