Having a Panic Attack...anyone awake to chat on here?
I get my panics in the night too.
i find that meditation can help. YouTube is a great source for guided meditations, self hypnosis, positive affirmation and motivational videos. Use the search bar to find dozens of good ones. Bookmark the best ones. Podcasts are a good source too. Get a podcast app and use the search bar.
I also keep a notebook near the bed. Sometimes writing a fear inventory or a letter to god, or to my inner child or list my resentments or a gratitude list or a to do list. Write it down. It's cheap therapy and having it on paper gets it out of my head.
Finally, I've cut back dramatically on caffeine and sugar. Even in the morning I now drink de cafe coffee. It was hard but those are fuels for panic.
