Can you go diving while on warfarin?

I have been told I need life long anticoagulant therapy because I have had two DVTs (deep vein thrombosis). I have always enjoyed diving whilst on holiday and wonder if I can continue.

If you have not done already, you may like to see the answer @ scuba-doc.com/antcoag.htm hope it helps. However, I would carry out a risk assessment on your health to ensure that your PT/INR is within your theraputic time range. I  would strongly recommend as part of your risk assessment to be able to self-test your PT/INR every time you dive to ensure you are within your therapeutic time range.
