I have a dvt that was diagnosed around 3 weeks ago. I'm on rivaroxaban. My question if any one can answer is. How long will my leg be swollen right up to the groin.

Can I take water tablets to bring fluid down

Hi 2dogs57

First thing speak to the doctor or hospital about any concerns.

I had the same problem, the best advice i can give is "wear the full length" compression stocking.

I never and boy I'm paying for it now.

I'm pretty bad for mobility, so if your fit and mobile exercise the legs but not, until your sore.

Any problems at all just speak to your doctor,

I had the swelling for years, still do! because I never wore my stocking.

So I never get up without my stocking on.

Hope that helps a bit.

Speak to the doctor if your worried at all.

Have a great week.
