Pain Treatment Injections

Wondering if anyone has had pain treatment injections with any issue while taking blood thinners.

I was told a hard no to intercostal injections for rib pain, but I HAVE had dry needling many times with no issue. The physiotherapist was very knowledgeable about the vascular system and main veins though too and she worked far from them. I had nearly no bruising either.

I have been told (five months post dvt) that I would have to leave off apixaban for three days if I was to have a cortisone injection. As I had my 2 dvt clots while on dabigatran I am not willing to stop coagulation. I’m just putting up with knee pain and swelling.
