Ive done acl and pcl reconstruction.

Iam using warfarin 5mg because of PE. The question is can i use diclofenac 25mg together with warfarin.

Iam in alot of pain?

No I wouldn’t it is like aspirin ibroprofen speak to a pharmacist their maybe other analgesia you can take, I take paracetamol and Codeine use Ice packs for pain but that’s just me as moo says speak to a professional

For me back ache, knee pains I put an ice pack over the affected area

Hello Vreet, if I were you I would not use it when on warfarin. They both (from what I understand) cause bleeding and can lead to further risks which you don't want. I think you should speak to your pharmacist or your GP directly to see what else they can suggest for you.

I've had a very bad experience after taking ibuprofen, basically it trebled my INR - so yep, speak to a pharmacist but I think you'll need to avoid any NSAIDs.

you can't take any nsaids as they increase the chances of a bleed. my GP said in certain circumstances you can have a short course of tablets but as a general rule, don't take any nsaids

Really feel for you. I was advised by the specialist not to combine the two ie diclofenac and warfarin. i was on the same warfarin dosage as you.

You have not specified the cause of your pains

There are alternatives

Your GP may advise on an alternate.
