Chronic pulmonary embolisms

Hi my PE at Christmas has left me with a chronic pulmonary embolism. I’m waiting to see a new specialist to see what they are going to do about it. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know the likely outcome

Hi, I have pe’s too.. I’m on clexane injections twice a day.. was diagnosed at the end of March,symptoms got better but the chest pain, constriction/tightness in my chest and breathlessness has returned... wondering when it will ever get better... is that what you mean by a chronic pulmonary embolism, chronic as in the symptoms have returned or never went?

Not quite my breathlessness never went and I had another scan that showed the PE was still on my right lung. The one on the left has gone. Chronic means it’s been there for a few months and likely to remain

I have the same . Pulmonary Embolism Mass . The pain, when I breathe in awful . This is worse at night . Let’s hope we both get well . I’m not a good patient. I’m used of being active

I Have Pulmonary Embolism Mass . I’m on injections. I’m still waiting to see Haematologist. I find night times are worse . Breathing is worse then . I hope you get sorted . Me too.
