Pulmonary Hypertension

I’ve just seen my specialist who has told me that my pulmonary embolism has left me with pulmonary hypertension. Has anyone else had this problem

I’m really sorry to hear this. Can I ask, how did they diagnosed you? Did you have abnormal ecgs/chest X-rays?

As I was still very out of breath after 3 months I was sent for an echocardiogram

I don't have this problem, but I gather it's a common after-effect, and I, too, was sent for an echocardiogram. Now they know, they will be able to do something about it!

I too have a PE and DVT but coping ok really, feel better soon.
