Hot foot

Since my cellutitis in December, I have been getting a hot foot at night in bed. It feels slightly warm to the touch but often feels to me as if its burning and a little itchy especially on the ankle. I wouldnt be suprised if all thats happened to my right leg with the clots, cellutitis and post thrombotic syndrome has affected my nerves in the foot. Im still waiting on my scan results so maybe they will come up with something. Would welcome any thoughts. Thanks

Thanks daisyd. I dont have a good relationship with my doctor as he didnt think i had cellutitis in the first place, just labelled me a worrier. I will make an appointment with the nurse practitioner as i trust her. I was hoping to have my scan results by now from the specialists in London but still waiting..im very interested in what they saw.

Not sure if my experience helps but I had suspected cellulitis. In the end my GP treated me for gout using standard tablets. Two days later I was 100% better ! I'm taking Apixaban and there does seem to be a lot of discussion around Apixaban and gout as a side effect.

Hope this helps😀
