arm movement

I am so worried. I have awakened two times with my arm up a little. not all the way but a half way maybe. Do slip ups always result in leads moving out of place. Getting concerned and frustrated.

I see you have not had a reply and you posted six days ago. As a retired nurse, I do feel for you. It is hard to know what to say as you do not give any details of what is wrong with you. What "leads" are you referring to? Is it a monitor or an internal lead?

I hope you have got things sorted now.

I only take medication so have no experience of anythings like pacemakers or monitors.

silly of me. It is the leads of my pacemaker into my heart. I have been instructed to be careful of elevating my arm until scar tissue forms around the leads. This takes about 6 weeks. Thanks for replying and trying to help me.

I hope all is well now. These things can be quite alarming until we get used to them. I wish you all the best. I have AF and am on anticoagulants but I know it could lead to to a pacemaker.
