So I had no problem after I was told  they would see me in 2 week's and made an apt. But this morning first thing 9 am they called to say I was anemic and they need to see me this week I made an apt. For wed. That was fast an that's scary. Because I didn't leave the office until 3 yesterday.  I have been anemic way before the clot started...and I sm taking Iron, Bs, Zink and lot's of supplements for this and have been for year's.. My body is not absorbing the way it should. I have been told this befor years ago after My kid's were born....so now WHY?? Is the mystery!!

Interesting....I too was anaemic but in stored iron rather than day to day running iron. And b12 issues. Did mention these things when admitted with cvst 2014 but they were not interested. Can't do meaningful bloods until off warfarin..... I may ask consultant again on Tuesday.

Try not to worry...probably just want to discuss iron supplements and more regular blood tests

Problem is that worrying doesn't help - but understand it's human nature.

You ( and they) can only do so much and sometimes there just isn't an answer to everything .....

enjoy your weekend :-)

I am so happy that I was able to get blood drawn and find answers the worst for me is waiting and not knowing what caused this because there is a reson and answer not knowing it is not good. I rum first thing in morning and at night with kid's and dog I go hiking and camping. Tomorrow a 3 hr. Hike with Boy scouts. I am in a band and live life to the fullest, finding out why is inportant so I can live a LONG life. Worring makes us human I have always found answers because they help heal wed. is a step in THAT guess I am more excitted to find out why. Hope you have a blessed day😁

I am very blessed because I do have 2 really great Dr.s and they do care and even though it's not completely gone It is smaller and we are going to figure this out. The Heamotologist knows alot about the blood and gave me lot's of great advice. I think anyone with a blood clot should definitely see one to know why. My vein Dr. Is also good he is ready to treat veins after clot is gone so together soon enough it will be gone.
