I had not heard of this drug. I think you are stretching it to suggest that it promotes myelin regeneration. I can see no evidence for that claim.

Just from a bit of searching it seems that it keeps certain white blood cells out of the CNS, and may also have anti-inflammatory effects. It may only be effective for relapsing-remitting MS, not all types.

I would not take it for AMN without trials on AMN patients.

You should post your source for the info.

Those immunomodulators are no joke. Unlikely you'd be prescribed it for AMN. Hard enough getting anything prescribed as it is.
