This is an interesting article. Thank you for posting. I was aware of some of the research into anti-ageing but not this particular initiative.

As for its potential to help AMN, I think that is much more uncertain. AMN is caused by a genetic defect so presumably the cell defect would continue to affect VLCFAs despite the infusion of new blood. It's also not clear if the new brain neurons die off over time.

Despite this, this and the many other new biotech developments bode well for diseases like AMN.

Beautifully simple idea, isn't it.

Much simpler that my wife's idea of grafting my head onto a child's body.

The former is a much more achievable goal.

Very cool! I personally will keep an eye on this. It's great to be skeptical, but for health conditions like ours it's also good to remain optimistic(specifically for our mental health). Any news is good news in medical science.
