Quick question. I was at opthalmology today re another matter and whilst there he diagnosed Dry Eye Syndrome. He said it was most likely another autoimmune condition I had. He said it would be a lifelong condition with drops a cream for my eyes. Has anyone else with alopecia been diagnosed with this. Or could it be more linked to my thyroid than my alopecia as it is swollen and being monitored with borderline readings. All a bit confusing as I suffer from Cranial CSF Leaks ( 3 surgical repairs)as well and had open heart surgery to have an Aortic Aneurysm repaired. Multiple things going on though I function really well on a daily basis considering everything!! But none of my Consultant's seem to think anything is linked. Might be difficult to pin down what's linked and what isn't. I just think this might be more linked to my alopecia for some reason as I have no eyelashes etc.
