I have been advised to do Tai Chi, but cannot find a class near me. I also looked into Pilates, but same thing. I live in Totton: anyone know of anything? Or can you recommend a good DVD or online group?

Lots of videos on Youtube.
A trip to your local Library's Noticeboards may turn up a Tai Chi class, most have lists of local clubs sporting and leisure activities, or even your Dr's Surgery.
Your library will have listing of local societies and Clubs, and they almost always have a noticeboard where other activities can put up a poster. They are an often overlooked resource.
